Emma Fox graduated from college in Los Angeles in December 2023 with a Journalism major and Chicano/Latino Studies minor. She is currently seeking opportunities as a reporter, fellow, or freelance journalist. Fox is experienced in music journalism, audio editing, investigative work, and explainer journalism to name a few. She is incredibly thoughtful when it comes to the impact of her work and she is forever learning and growing.

In recognition of her crucial contributions to campus media and the journalism department, Loyola Marymount University awarded her “Journalist of the Year.” She is passionate about exploring cultural identities and contemporary issues. She stays well-informed and excels in a collaborative environment. Fox is extremely self-motivated and reliable in delivering on challenging tasks. She produces innovative, and on-time, work with a sense of purpose.

She was the president and founder of her school’s chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the president of the Society of Professional Journalists chapter.

Fox is also a music fanatic who loves writing about its context and unifying power. She is dedicated to discovering overlooked stories and finding creative ways to tell them, whether that means unique storytelling tactics or the usage of different journalistic mediums.
